Built using high-end hi-fi components, with six dedicated speakers including a powerful subwoofer with integrated multi-channel power amplifier, DigiTheatre DTS is the complete surround sound system for Pro Logic, Dolby Digital and the new DTS system. DTS is a rapidly emerging standard which provides unrivaled sound quality. DigiTheatre DTS provides a spacious sound stage, capturing every detail of the movie soundtrack with fast, precise positioning of effects accompanied by thunderous bass.

Supplied with a fully functional remote control, DigiTheatre DTS is equally suitable for stand-alone DVD players in the living room or DVD-capable PCs. Fully compatible with earlier surround sound standards, it also supports Dolby Pro Logic from Pro Logic-encoded material played on your Nicam VCR or TV and spacious stereo surround, with a choice of effects modes, from any standard stereo input.

Backward compatibility with Dolby Digital
Fully compatible with earlier surround sound standards, DigiTheatre DTS fully supports Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC3) as well as Dolby Pro Logic material played on your Nicam VCR or TV, and can also be used to produce stereo surround from any standard stereo input with the choice of ‘Hall’ or ‘Theatre’ surround/effects modes.

Complete home cinema speaker system
DigiTheatre DTS consists of a dedicated centre speaker with built-in decoder, four satellite speakers and a subwoofer with integrated multi-channel amplifier delivering a massive 175W true RMS. The centre speaker’s integrated control panel provides adjustment of all system functions.

Hi-fi quality components
The centre speaker contains a four inch full-range bass/mid drive unit, with coaxial mounted tweeter, for clear, powerful dialog. Each of the four satellite speakers, as used in VideoLogic’s award-winning Sirocco Crossfire speaker system, contain twin Audax drive units housed in an ultra compact polymer-loaded cabinet. The subwoofer has a massive eight inch long-throw bass drive unit for gut-wrenching low frequency effects.

Multiple inputs
Optical and coaxial digital (S/P-DIF) inputs enable you to connect to any DVD player or DVD-capable PC (with a digital output) for Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound, or to CD/MiniDisc/PC with digital output for stereo surround sound. An analog input is also available for other stereo sources such as Nicam VCR/TV, CD, MiniDisc, PC etc.

Easy to set up and use
With its integrated amplifier and decoder DigiTheatre DTS is easy to connect and easy to use. System controls are integrated into the centre speaker and all system functions are accessible directly from this control panel or via the supplied remote control.
